This octagonal 2-story addition was the initial design of the home-owner himself. The team at Mark Albert Construction worked closely with the customer to make his vision into working engineered plans, and completed the building from permitting to final landscaping. The space serves as a home office, with a kitchenette, full bath, and sitting area on the first floor.

The second floor features a wide office space with custom hardwood trim and beams with a vaulted ceiling leading up to an open cupola with windows to let in indirect light. It also has variable color and speed LEDrope lighting at the perimeter offering a creative atmosphere. The structure also meets the highest efficiency standards using "green" building products such as insulated Low-e windows and open-cell spray foam insulation.
